Truth Christian Center started out as a mere vision in the mind of Minister Victor L. McDowell,

but flourished into a reality in December 03, 2005. As a skilled and anointed musician, Min. McDowell had been spreading the Word of God through music in several different churches. In the midst of shifting from place to place as a musician, he realized that God had a higher calling for him, to preach the Word, and summonsed him to do something great.

Stepping out on his faith, he applied to several churches that were seeking spiritual leaders. After several letdowns and doors that were closed in his face, discouragement slowly started to move in. He started thinking and decided that he didn’t have to be in anyone else’s church to speak the Word to God’s people—he could start his own. And that’s just what he did.

Truth Christian Center was developed with a unique style of teaching and learning unlike any service that you would get in a “traditionalized” church setting. It is an interactive church where every individual plays an integral part in the worship. At Truth, everybody is somebody.
